An icon of Arts & Crafts furniture, this Morris-style armchair captivates with its understated elegance and technical ingenuity. Crafted from solid wood, it is distinguished by its clean, balanced lines. Its reclining backrest allows for customized comfort thanks to a ratchet mechanism integrated into the wide, overhanging armrests. The new, generously padded, high-density cushions are upholstered in a soft, warm bouclé fabric. Created in Victorian England and popularized by William Morris in the 1860s, these models were among the first modern reclining armchairs and are emblematic of the Arts & Crafts movement.
