Antique object from the 19th century
Materials: Leather, Metal, Crystal
These antique green babouche slippers were worn on special occasions, perhaps even by a groom on his wedding day. The metal threads were imported to the central Anti Atlas region, the leather was shaped and sewn by hand by master craftsmen, and protective and talismanic stones were incorporated to ward off harmful forces. With time and wear, the metal threads have lost their luster, but the shoes still have their original beauty and intrigue.
Wear consistent with age and use. In good condition.
This item shows slight signs of use.
However, these features add to the authentic look and are part of the charm of the vintage look.
