An exceptional piece for collectors and enthusiasts of 20th-century glass art, dating from the 1950s-1970s, from the Eastern Bloc region of Poland. This monumental vase, crafted from heavy lead crystal, was produced by the prestigious Polish glassworks HUTA SZKTA KRYSZTALOWEGO SUDETY A SZCZYTNA during the popular period. This Polish factory closed its doors in 2014. Its impressive weight of 5 kg allowed the master glassmaker to create a rich cut of extraordinary depth and geometric complexity, featuring a large, chiseled medallion and rosette, as well as fine vertical fluting. It is in exceptional, mint condition. There are no cracks, chips, or scratches from use. The crystal possesses perfect clarity and brilliance. An absolute rarity, this vase still retains its original PRL label, attesting to its first-rate production, GATUNEK 1. These paper labels rarely survived washing, making this a collector's item.
