Product description
A striking tall vase in clear pressed glass, attributed to the renowned Sklo Union design collective and produced in Bohemia, Czechoslovakia, circa 1960s. With its architectural rhythm and robust vertical fluting, this sculptural piece is both decorative and functional—an exemplar of Eastern Bloc modernism executed in luminous, ultra-clear crystal.
The design alternates between refined vertical panels and a weighty, tiered base with concentric oval impressions, adding optical depth and tactility. The transparency and precision-cut surface allow the light to play dramatically, making it a dynamic focal point whether used for florals or as a stand-alone art object.
Original foil labels intact: “BOHEMIA Glass Made in Czechoslovakia,” indicating its provenance and authenticity.
