Montis Charly Flex armchair with ottoman – Gerard van den Berg – black leather Original Montis Charly Flex armchair with matching ottoman, designed by Gerard van den Berg for the Dutch design brand Montis. The Charly is a distinctly Dutch design classic from the 1980s. Characteristic features include the high backrest with striking wings, the generous seat, and the distinctive black base. This Flex version features an adjustable backrest, making the armchair particularly comfortable as a reading or relaxation chair. Upholstered in black leather and complete with the matching leather ottoman. The original Montis label is present. The armchair and ottoman are in good used condition. The leather shows visible signs of wear and a natural patina, including a few localized pressure/dent marks. These have been deliberately photographed clearly and are consistent with age and use.
