Pietro Arosio:
The expression "Made in Italy" has become synonymous with unparalleled quality, design excellence, and constant technical innovation, and Pietro Arosio's work brilliantly embodies these three qualities. Born in Lissone, Italy, and trained at the Monza Institute of Applied Arts (home of the renowned Design Triennale), Arosio founded his independent studio in 1972, creating pieces for some of Italy's leading furniture and interior design manufacturers. His meticulous attention to detail stems from extensive research and development conducted in collaboration with the design offices of these manufacturing companies, yet the final product always bears Arosio's unique signature.
His work has been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in Munich.
