The modular wall system "Cado," designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado, is an outstanding example of mid-century Danish design.
Crafted from exquisite Rio rosewood (Dalbergia nigra), also known as rosewood and jacaranda, one of the finest tropical hardwoods, this piece of furniture captivates with its striking grain and warm, brown hue, adding a special depth to any room.
This system consists of three wall panels and offers a variety of functional elements. It includes an integrated, illuminated bar and a secretary desk, both lockable and supplied with two keys (one original). Additionally, the system features a reading and presentation desk and a special module for storing records. The thoughtful design provides ample storage space for books and art objects.
The wall system is in good condition and shows characteristics consistent with its history since its acquisition in 1971. The original invoice from this year is available and underscores the authenticity of this design classic.
