Product description
A pair of armchairs designed by Eberhard Geißler, produced at the Oelsa Furniture Factory in Rabenau, East Germany, in 1970s.
These modular armchairs can be transformed into a sofa by connecting the two modules with butterfly screws.
The structure is crafted from upholstery foam, wooden boards and wood with the seats supported by webbing and wave springs.
Armchairs have been re-upholstered in a durable, textured fabric featuring a sophisticated pattern in shades of grey and beige, accented by a dynamic, dark stippled motif , while the base has been upholstered in natural black leather.
The internal seat padding has been replaced, while the original spring system was retained to preserve the authentic seating experience.
These armchairs capture the innovative and flexible spirit of 1970s design, where furniture was created with multi-functionality in mind.

The armchairs retain their well-preserved original labels.
