An independent Italian sculptor active in the 1980s, Francesco was known as "Rasper" (a large file used to refine a piece of metal). He lived and worked in his blacksmith shop in the province of Macerata, Marche, Italy.
Style: Modern/Organic Abstraction.
Materials: Heavy metal sculpture with a beautiful gold/burnished patina. Heavy aqua/clear artistic glass base, hand-crafted by Vetreria Osimo in relief.
Details: The work features a number on the bottom (visible in the photo), a sign of refined artistic production.
Excellent vintage condition, no visible chips on the glass. The metal has its original patina, lending character to the piece.
