Elegant 1999 re-issue of the iconic Alfa table lamp, originally designed by Sergio Mazza for Artemide in the late 1950s. The lamp features a substantial black marble base, a refined metal structure, and a beautifully executed thick crystal glass diffuser with vertical ribbing that softly disperses the light. This later production faithfully preserves the timeless proportions and sophisticated character of the original design. The combination of luxurious materials and understated geometry makes the Alfa a true Italian design classic, reflecting the refined approach to form and material for which Sergio Mazza’s work is celebrated. The lamp remains in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of age and use. A striking and elegant piece that works equally well on a desk, side table, or bedside cabinet.
