Studio Haag presents a model 625/30 table lamp by J.J. Hoogervorst for Anvia Nederland, the Netherlands, 1950s
Designed in the 1950s by J.J. Hoogervorst, one of the leading figures of Dutch mid-century lighting, the model 625/30 is a playful yet refined example of Anvia’s modernist approach. Its striking conical shade — finished in vivid red with a warm yellow interior — delivers a focused, cheerful glow, while the slender, angled frame gives the lamp its signature graphic presence.
The design combines lightness and function: a pivoting brass joint allows the shade to adjust direction, and the minimal folded-metal base provides stability with a sculptural line. The lamp can also be used as a wall lamp, thanks to its lightweight construction and angled form.
In good vintage condition, with signs of age consistent with careful use. Colors remain vibrant and all parts function well. Recently rewired for safe, everyday operation.
A charming and iconic Anvia piece — compact, characterful, and a perfect example of Dutch mid-century design at its most joyful.
