Model 2020 cylindrical desk lamp in wood by Markslöjd AB, Sweden, 1960s. A rare and distinctive example of mid-century Swedish design with a strong, architectural presence.
The lamp features a solid cylindrical wooden base and matching central stem, paired with its original stenciled acrylic shade. The shade diffuses the light softly while maintaining a crisp, graphic surface, complementing the warmth of the natural wood.
There are some spots and signs of age on both the acrylic shade and the wood, consistent with time and use. Overall, the lamp is in very good vintage condition. A very rare Markslöjd model and a highly desirable piece for collectors of Scandinavian and mid-century lighting.
