An extremely rare wall sconce, Model 1110 designed by Tito Agnoli for Oluce in the 1950s.
It is made up of two brass spotlights and a central rod, allowing the bulbs to be rotated separately. This enables the user to play with the light intensity, achieving either a soft, diffuse light when the bulbs face the wall or a more direct light when they're faced differently. The versatile design allows the sconce to be mounted either horizontally or vertically, depending on the desired aesthetic and space. The sconce comes with a central switch in the middle, so that the lights can be controlled separately.
The sconce remains in very good condition. The brass has acquired a patina throughout the years.
