An elegant "Parioli" office chair, designed by Ennio Fazioli in 1960 for the prestigious Italian house MIM Mobili Italiani Moderni. These timeless design pieces combine refined rosewood, racing green leather upholstery, and a cast aluminum swivel base, resulting in a perfect balance between aesthetics and comfort.
The curved plywood shells with integrated foam padding provide a soft, ergonomic seat, while the two hinges between the base, seat, and backrest allow for subtle flexibility. The chairs are known for their sturdiness, elegance, and lightness, and this one is in excellent condition.
A beautiful combination with the dark green leather and rosewood.
These chairs are often attributed to Ico and Luisa Parisi by both dealers and auction houses, but were designed by Ennio Fazioli. Ico Parisi was also a designer for MIM Italy at the time.
