Product description
This DSS Side Chair by Charles and Ray Eames is from the first Vitra production! In a beautiful yellow color between egg yellow and mustard, presumably Brilliant Yellow.
Charles & Ray Eames designed these iconic DSS chairs in the 1950s; they were then produced by Vitra for Herman Miller. DSS stands for Dining Side Stacking. Design classics and collectors items, Mid - Century modern style.
The seat is molded fiberglass and mounted on a sturdy metal frame that is stackable and can be linked to the next chair.
The chair is in good, used condition with vintage character, signs of use including minor scratches and a small tear on the side, see photo. The metal frames are showing some rust. The swivel legs are complete and functional.
