Product description
A magnificent antique millefiori murrine glass vase, designed by Vetreria Fratelli Toso, Murano. Dimensions including handle 15 x 7.5 cm (5.9 × 2.95 inches). The main colors are a unique combination of sky blue, soft warm yellow, and light green. The surface has a frosted glass finish created by acid etching. The vase was manufactured between 1900 and 1914 (similar objects can be seen in the book *Venetian Glass – Confections in Glass 1855–1914* by Sheldon Barr (pages 114–119)) and is in excellent condition. Any imperfections are the result of handwork and the firing process; dark color on the neck and the superficial holes around the flowers.
