Striking midcentury West German pottery vase by Wächtersbach Keramik, featuring the Turin decor designed by Ursula Fesca in the 1950s. The elegant cylindrical form is decorated with a bold modernist abstract motif in yellow and black on a white glazed ground on two sides, beautifully contrasted by a textured speckled black glaze on the remaining sides.
This sculptural vase perfectly captures the experimental spirit of postwar German ceramic design, combining graphic abstraction with refined craftsmanship. A timeless statement piece for collectors of West German pottery and midcentury modern design.
Maker’s marks are present underneath, though partially difficult to read.
