Product description
This vintage rocking chair is a beautiful example of Mid-Century modern design from the 1960s - in the style of Ercol and Tapiovaara. The design is characterized by its elegant, high spindle back and flowing lines. The chair is made of solid wood. Two photos show the characteristic wood joints, a nice detail. The chair is in good condition with a charming patina that testifies to its age and history. The cushion is no longer the original. The rocking chair was probably painted black earlier (all wood except the seat). That black color was later removed. I acquired the chair in this condition. This rocking chair fits perfectly into a Scandinavian or vintage-inspired interior, but can be an added value in any home.
