Designed by product designer Karl Dittert for Stoll Giroflex in the 1960s, this exceptionally comfortable office chair has become a classic. Dittert worked as a teacher, professor and founding rector at what is now the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design. His works have received numerous awards and are shown internationally in renowned museums (e.g., MOMA/New York, Design Center/Stuttgart). Stoll is a furniture manufacturer that has specialized in the production of office furniture since the 1870s. The chair has cushions of beautiful dark brown leather with also a back and seat shell of brown leather. The chair is really in wonderful condition with only very light signs of use. The swivel mechanism of the armchair works smoothly as well as the rollers.
