Mid-Century Vintage Lounge Chair 1950s

This expressive vintage armchair probably dates from the 1950s to the early 1960s and can be attributed to Mid-Century design. Its organically curved shape with the wide backrest and the armrests raised at the sides gives the armchair a striking, sculptural silhouette.
The seat, backrest, and armrests are covered with a finely structured, light grey fabric. A special contrast is provided by the back of the seat shell, which is finished with a red cover, adding a characteristic splash of color to the otherwise restrained design.
The armchair is supported by four slender, slightly flared dark legs. Brass-colored metal caps on the feet add elegant accents and emphasize the typical design language of Mid-Century design.
The generous, softly padded seat shell and the curved armrests create an inviting look. Thanks to its distinctive shape, the armchair is ideal as a lounge chair, reading armchair or as a single statement piece in the living area.
Condition: The armchair is in good vintage condition with age- and use-related signs of wear. Slight signs of wear are present on the fabric, legs, and metal caps.
