Mid-century,Vintage two tiered side table circa 1960s. The top shelf is made of wood with a striped mahogany colored veneer finish.
The structure and upside-down hairpin legs and the magazine rack with four bars underneath are made of brass-colored metal, giving the whole piece a very attractive look.
The tops of the legs are designed as handles, making it easy to move if needed or desired.
The piece has its original 4 brass-colored plastic leg tips.
The piece is in good original and vintage condition, with some light signs of age and previous use commensurate with its age, on the overall structure, top (slight marks and front left corner (see photos next to a 1 cent coin for perspective), some marks on the metal (see photos) and a patina of age that only adds to its charm.
Note; There is a slight discrepancy in height ion the slanted brass bar of 0.5 cm between the left and right (see photo), but this is how it was purchased and does not affect its functionality in any way.
There are a few faded/ discolored areas on the metal and top of the handles (see photos).
The overall design has clean lines and the structure itself is both functional and stable. Perfect size for optimizing space in a small room. A superb retro decorative piece that could be used as a side table, end table, or other.
All photos were taken in natural light outdoors, so colors may vary depending on brightness, reflection, and viewing angles.
Top shelf: 29 cm x 29 cm.
Brass magazine rack: W: 30 cm, D 25 cm
