Beautifully crafted Danish teak blanket chest from the 1960s, produced by Riis Antonsen in Aabenraa. The exterior features warm, book-matched teak veneer with clean lines, characteristic of Danish modern craftsmanship.
The interior is lined with aromatic cedar and includes two green felt-lined trays that slide across the top — ideal for storing smaller items. These trays glide smoothly from left to right and offer both functional storage and visual contrast. The original lock is intact, though the key is missing.
A versatile piece that can function as a blanket box or storage bench, combining practicality with timeless mid-century design.
In good vintage condition with minor surface wear. Original key missing, but lid opens. Some scratches and small veneer damages.
