Andersen is known for its sophisticated use of high-quality wood for seating and tables. Andersen's designs in collaboration with Uldum Møbelfabrik maximized functionality without compromising the flowing forms. For many of the center tables and dining chairs that Andersen designed together with Uldum Møbelfabrik, various hardwoods such as teak or rosewood were used. These are characterized by their durability and stunning wood grain.
