An expressive mid-century still life of Italian origin, created within the context of post-war modern art. The composition depicts a carefully arranged group of abstracted ceramic vessels—including a bulbous jug with a curved handle, cylindrical and bottle-like forms, and a shallow bowl. The vessels are deliberately simplified and placed in a serene balance.
The muted, earthy color palette with accents of ochre, terracotta, green, and black, as well as the emphasized materiality of the paint application, stylistically references the Italian mid-century modernism of the 1950s and 60s.
