This iconic retro seating set was produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1970s by Jitona Soběslav, a renowned manufacturer known for innovative and comfortable furniture designs of the era. The set reflects the relaxed modernism of late mid-century Central European interiors, combining bold form with exceptional comfort.
The construction is made from hardened lightweight polystyrene, a characteristic material used in 1970s Czech lounge furniture, and is upholstered in an original dark brick–colored period fabric. The removable seat mattresses enhance both comfort and practicality. The set remains in very good original condition and can be used immediately without the need for renovation.
