Restored and rewired. Matching pair of authentic 1960s semi-cylindrical wall lamps. Handcrafted in Italy, reflect perfectly the Mediterranean Mid-Century Modern movement and the design principles popularized by French master Louis Sognot. Geometric design, crafted with a thick, structural steam-bent bamboo skeleton showing a rustic 1960s patina. Features a flush silhouette where the concentric rattan circles are precisely aligned side-by-side (tangent fit) and bound with flat split-cane reeds. Inside: Original translucent parchment/vellum inner diffusers fully modular. ATTENTION: . The rattan frames have a rustic, distressed varnish finish, with areas where the varnish is thicker than in others and other parts left unvarnished. As can be seen in the photos. . Small age marks on the parchment liners, practically invisible once the diffusers are placed back inside the rattan structures.
