This compact, free-form glass piece exemplifies the organic design language of Italian Murano glass art from the 1960s to the 1970s. Its sculptural, almost teardrop-shaped silhouette with flowing lines creates a new effect from every angle, making the object more of a small glass sculpture than a classic vase. A characteristic feature is the so-called Sommerso effect: colored glass inclusions in warm amber, honey, and brown tones appear embedded in the clear glass, creating a strong sense of depth. This technique was particularly widespread in the Mid-Century period and is still associated with high-quality Murano glass production. The soft color gradients at the base contrast with the clear, heavy glass, lending the piece a serene yet striking presence. Due to its solid construction and closed form, the piece is suitable both as a decorative standalone object and as a collector's item within a glass collection.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear, a few small air bubbles due to the manufacturing process, no visible damage.
