Rare mid-century Swedish sconces, designed by Uno and Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden, 1960s. With simplicity and refined detailing, these wall lamps are excellent examples of the high-quality lighting produced by Luxus during this period. The structure is crafted entirely from teak, complemented by an acrylic shade. A particularly beautiful detail is the elongated shape, highlighting the thoughtful craftsmanship and elegant Scandinavian design. Designer: Uno & Östen Kristiansson. Manufacturer: Luxus. Country of manufacture: Sweden. Design period: 1960s. Style: Scandinavian modern. Condition: Good. These vintage pieces show very little and only some light wear, consistent with age and use. Plugs with dimmer switch, making it possible to alter the luminous effect. Note: the plugs are for usage in Sweden and many other countries in the EU.
