A stunning Mid-Century Modern rosewood wall unit by the renowned Danish designer and manufacturer Sejling Skabe, dating from the 1960s. Beautifully crafted from richly figured rosewood, this exceptional modular wall unit perfectly captures the elegance, functionality, and outstanding craftsmanship of Scandinavian design.
The unit offers an excellent combination of display and storage. On the left-hand side is a glazed display cabinet with sliding glass doors, ideal for showcasing glassware, ceramics, books, or treasured collectibles while keeping them dust-free. Beneath is an open shelving section, followed by a spacious two-door cupboard providing concealed storage.
The right-hand section features additional open shelving above, together with a wonderful rotating cocktail bar that adds both style and functionality. Below is a further storage cabinet, making this a highly practical piece for everyday living and entertaining.
The beautifully grained rosewood veneer displays spectacular natural figuring throughout, with warm, rich tones that highlight the exceptional quality of the timber. The clean lines and balanced proportions make this wall unit a timeless addition to both vintage and contemporary interiors.
