Product description
This elegant flush-mount ceiling light captivates with its timeless combination of hand-blown opal glass and a stepped brass-look base. The design is strongly influenced by Art Deco and is a classic example of European lighting design from the 1960s and 70s (Limburg glassworks style).
Special Features:
Lighting: Rare two-bulb design (2 x E27 sockets). The double bulbs provide powerful and perfectly even, shadow-free illumination of the glass shade. Ideally suited for modern LED bulbs.
Construction: The high-quality frosted glass shade is securely held in place by three decorative knurled screws, allowing easy access for bulb replacement.
Design: The stepped base gives the light a sculptural presence on the ceiling.
Condition:
The light is in authentic vintage condition. The opal glass is in excellent condition (a minimal surface scratch, barely noticeable when mounted). The metal fittings display a characteristic, age-related patina, including stains and a visible rust spot, which underscores the originality of this vintage piece.
