A pair of mid-century industrial hospital cabinets, Eastern European likely produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s–70s. Originally designed for clinical use, these all-metal pieces now work well as compact, characterful storage in a loft, studio, or bedroom setting.
Each cabinet features a lower compartment with door, an open shelf, and a raised tray top with integrated edge and rail detail — typical of medical furniture from the period.
The set includes two variations of the same model: one with a relatively clean surface and working top shelf. The other cabinet has more history, top drawer is stuck, and more pronounced patina on top from use in a wet environment, giving the pair a layered, authentic look.
Condition
Structurally solid with visible wear consistent with age and use. Paint wear, light rust, and patina throughout.
This has not been restored but has 2 layers of paint visible and may require attention depending on intended use.
Both bottom cabinets door handle mechanism are detached. The original knobs and mechanism are included.
