This pendant lamp by Schmahl & Schulz is a striking example of Mid-Century Modern lighting design from the 1960s. The design combines a sleek geometric shape with a refined mix of materials, resulting in a fixture that is both functionally and aesthetically convincing.
The lamp is crafted from a combination of glass, brass, acrylic, and metal. The outer ring is made of black metal and features decorative acrylic elements, while the inner structure has a brass finish. The underside is enclosed by a glass diffuser with a waffle pattern, ensuring even and atmospheric light distribution. The fixture accommodates three light sources and hangs from a slender, partially brass-colored pendant.
