Elegant Dieter Waeckerlin case with black metal base. Inlay made out of maple. The nightstand comes in teak veneer with two drawers.
Waeckerlin was a cabinet maker, interior architect, and furniture designer from Switzerland. His mid-century furniture is characterized by a puristic design language, especially visible in his famous sideboards. He developed furniture systems with Le Corbusier and became known for his collaboration with manufacturer Behr in Osnabrück.
The case comes in wonderful refinished condition with only minor traces of use, some light scratches, some very tiny marks on the legs, nothing that detracts.
