A characteristic Danish mid-century dining table from the 1960s, designed by Rainer Daumiller and manufactured by Vamdrup Stolefabrik in Denmark. The table is made entirely of solid pine and combines a robust construction with the warm and natural design language of Scandinavian design. The round, substantial tabletop with its softly rounded edge is particularly striking. The clearly visible grain and natural color variations of the pine wood give the surface a vibrant and individual character. The tabletop is supported by a distinctive, almost sculptural base consisting of four cylindrical solid wood legs. These transition into wide, gently curved feet at the base, echoing the soft curves of the tabletop. A special feature is the extendable design. The tabletop can be split in the middle and extended using an integrated rail system. With the help of additional extension leaves, the compact round table transforms into a generous oval table, making it adaptable to different situations and numbers of people. The design deliberately highlights the natural beauty of the material. Grain and irregularities are not concealed but rather integrated into the design. Together with the rounded forms, this creates an expressive piece of furniture that combines Scandinavian clarity, functionality, and a warmth rooted in nature. Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of use. The pine wood exhibits natural age-related changes, as well as slight signs of wear and color variations. Dimensions: L119/168.5/218 x W119 x H73.5
