Beautiful set of four vintage dining chairs, presumably produced by a Dutch furniture factory in the 1960s. Although the designer and manufacturer are unknown, the chairs bear a strong resemblance to designs by Erik Worts.
This set originates from Veghel and has been restored with great care in our workshop. The solid mahogany frames have been thoroughly cleaned and refinished with a protective satin-matte finish, allowing the warm, deep wood color to come into its own once again. For optimal seating comfort, the seats have been rebuilt with sturdy foam and upholstered in high-quality black leather.
The design is characterized by its slender, clean lines and refined proportions. The slightly tapered legs give the chairs an elegant and chic appearance, while the wicker backrests add a touch of airiness to the design. Moreover, they offer a surprisingly comfortable seat and form a stylish contrast with the dark wood and black leather. A successful interplay of materials that gives these chairs their timeless character.
Despite our restoration, some minor signs of wear have been retained. They tell the story of over sixty years of use and contribute significantly to the authentic appearance of the set. In short, a beautiful set of mid-century dining chairs in which Dutch craftsmanship and Scandinavian influences come together in a powerful way. Ready for another decades of seating pleasure.
