Product description
Original 1960s Czechoslovak rattan and wicker wall coat rack, attributed to ÚLUV. A beautifully lightweight mid-century design featuring five integrated hooks and an upper storage shelf. The bent cane construction is joined with hand-wrapped wicker bindings, creating an unusual combination of modernist simplicity and traditional craftsmanship. ÚLUV was known for bringing Czechoslovak craft traditions into contemporary post-war interiors, and this rack is a particularly attractive example of that approach. Good vintage condition with warm natural patina and age-related wear. Carefully checked, cleaned and ready for use.
