1950s Mid Century coffee table in the style of Fornasetti. A remarkable Mid Century coffee table, presumably from the late 1950s or early 1960s, featuring a distinctive graphic design strongly reminiscent of the visual language of Piero Fornasetti. The rectangular tabletop is constructed as a collage of historical French images and texts, sheet music, and classic hunting motifs. Hunting horns, rifles, game, and other hunting attributes are combined with deep green, ochre, brown, and red tones. This combination of historical prints and graphic composition aligns beautifully with the decorative Italian design of the 1950s, of which Fornasetti is one of the most famous representatives. The tabletop is finished all around with a metal rim and rests on a black lacquered steel base. The angled flat legs are connected by double round metal crossbars and terminate in characteristic adjustable brass-colored screw feet. The table is not signed or labeled and is therefore emphatically not attributed to Piero Fornasetti; Fornasetti is mentioned solely as a style reference. Authentic vintage condition with signs of use and age. A small piece was missing from the metal frame in one spot; this has been replaced and restored. Dimensions: 110 cm wide, 47 cm deep, 45 cm high
