An Architectural Masterpiece in Glass and Chrome
Up for sale is a stunning and rare flush mount ceiling lamp designed by the master of Italian lighting, Gaetano Sciolari, and manufactured during the 1970s. This piece is a quintessential example of the Brutalist aesthetic, blending industrial geometry with the organic elegance of Murano glass.
Design & Materials:
The Glass: Features 4 massive, hand-blown "Ice Glass" (Vetro Ghiaccio) cubes. Each cube has a unique, frozen texture that diffuses light with incredible warmth and complexity, creating a dramatic atmosphere.
The Structure: A heavy-gauge polished chrome base that reflects the glass cubes, doubling the visual impact of the lamp.
Aesthetic: Perfect for a mid-century modern interior, a minimalist loft, or as a statement piece in a luxury hallway.
Condition Report:
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. The chrome base has been professionally cleaned and retains a brilliant mirror finish.
Note: As expected with authentic vintage pieces of this age, there are two minor "flea bites" (small chips) on the edges of two glass cubes. Due to the rich "ice" texture of the glass, these are virtually invisible once the lamp is mounted and do not detract from its structural integrity or stunning visual appeal.
Electrical wiring is in working order.
Dimensions: [Inserisci dimensioni, es: 30x30 cm]
Shipping:
This is a heavy and fragile item. It will be shipped with professional-grade packaging, with the glass cubes protected individually to ensure safe delivery worldwide.
