For over 150 years, the name Giroflex has been synonymous with seating excellence - a pioneering brand characterized by cutting-edge technology and innovation, helping users to sit and work ergonomically. What originally began with sophisticated chairs made of bent wood has evolved into state-of-the-art seating furniture. In Switzerland, Albert Stoll founded his first factory producing chairs made of bent wood. These chairs were used in cafés, stores and hotels. In 1919, his son Albert Stoll II decided to convert the company to office chairs. These targeted efforts led to the invention of the so-called "Spring Swivel" in 1926, the first swivel chair with a suspension system.
