Product description
Decorative hand-carved wooden sculpture from the United States, dating from the second half of the 20th century (circa 1960s–1970s).
Carved entirely from a single piece of wood, the sculpture depicts a stylized figure with a carved circular backing. The style is typical of American decorative wood carving from that period, with influences from boho and lodge interiors. This is not an ethnographic or ceremonial object, but a decorative piece made for interior use.
The wood has a warm, dark color with an evenly polished finish. The cut lines are clean and regular, consistent with 20th-century craftsmanship.
