A symbol of Italian design from the 1950s and 60s, the MEZZADRO stool was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1957.
The tractor stool-shaped seat is considered a symbolic object for the Castiglioni brothers and also introduced the ready-made method to design: industrial parts are assembled, creating new types of products adapted to a mass production process.
The seat is painted yellow. It features a curved metal support system and a natural wood base. This is a vintage model with the Zanotta logo and triangle present under the base. There are some minor scuffs and micro-scratches on the base due to age (see detailed photos). You are buying what you see. Secure Colissimo shipping. Dimensions (cm): H 51.0 x W 49.0 x D 51.0
