This is a hand-knotted Oriental rug, made from sustainable, natural materials. The knotting technique and diversity of patterns make this rug unique and emphasize its authentic and artisanal character.

This is an unused, cleaned rug that can be laid down immediately. Mehraban rugs originate from the Hamadan region, where these rugs were bought and sold decades ago. Hamadan served as a central trading point for a large surrounding region. Many rugs from this region resemble one another, with occasional differences in patterns and/or colors. Only the best rugs from this large region have their own name (and recognizability), like this Mehraban.
