Rare decorative wrought-iron chandelier featuring a heraldic shield decorated with nine castles, a reference to the coat-of-arms of Castile (Spain), an emblem of medieval history. It is surmounted by a stylized crown, and suspended by two sturdy hand-forged chains.
The side arms hold four sockets for bayonet bulbs, reminiscent of ancient candelabras.
