A stunning 1970s decanter (or studio perfume bottle) from the renowned "Ming" series, designed by the great master glassmaker Michael Harris during his golden age at the Mdina Glass factory in Malta.
This sculptural, mouth-blown piece is distinguished by its fluid, overlapping swirls of cobalt blue and intense turquoise glass. The organic movement of the colors evokes seascapes, enhanced by a thick, clear glass neck and topped with its original bubble-shaped spherical stopper.
The polished pontil mark on the base is engraved with the authentic "Mdina" signature. An iconic example of the 1970s modernist art glass movement, it's perfect for adding a touch of textured light to a Scandinavian sideboard, a bar area, or a collector's shelf.
