Product description
Maugrion for Roche Bobois, circa 1980
Table from the Le Rotin Prestige collection, wheat sheaf model.
Round table base representing a sheaf of wheat joined at its center by a sort of braid also in rattan, varnished in rosewood-colored wood and varnished. Original label on reverse: Maugrion Rotin prestige.
Table topped by a large, thick, round glass top 130 cm in diameter.
For the record, the Maugrion family have been rattan makers from father to son. In the '80s, Roche-Boubois "Collections" marketed the wood and rattan range of Editions Maugrion (founded by Roger Maugrion in Bayeux, Calvados, around 1960), specialists in "prestige rattan" made in France.
In perfect condition, a few traces of wear to the rattan (small but very light dings at the edges).
Collector's item.
Clean, fast and careful delivery.
Small but very light chips at the edge of the rattan.
