The Mask stool is designed by Danish designer Eva Harlou. It is the result of an innovative new production method that enables Mater to use the low-value waste from beer production known as dregs ("mask" in Danish) and transform it to create the stool's seat.
In collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute, Mater has developed a new industrial technology for processing waste materials, such as spent grains and other fiber-based wastes.
The Mask stool demonstrates a waste recovery technique and a solution for reusing company resources more efficiently, while taking care of the planet.
The Mask stool is height-adjustable to suit any situation.
