Product description
The iconic sofa bed (model BR 53 7), designed by Martin Visser for ‘t Spectrum in 1966.
One of the finest examples of Dutch mid-century design, featuring characteristic sleek and minimalist styling and the square tubular frame with chrome sides.
The sofa is easy to convert into a single bed: with one smooth movement, you pull the seat forward. Functional and stylish.
This sofa has recently been reupholstered in high-quality green wool upholstery fabric.
The Nosag springs have been inspected and secured where necessary. Additionally, a new, invisible layer of webbing has been added for extra comfort and firmness, and the sofa is fitted with new Pantera foam.
The sofa is once again excellent for sitting and sleeping. Light patina on the frame.
A matching armrest in a lighter shade of green is currently being made and can be supplied optionally. ✨ Authenticity
