Set of two vintage lounge armchairs, designed by Martin Visser for ’t Spectrum. Characteristic black steel frame with floating armrests in wenge wood — a true design classic from the 60s/70s.
The chairs are upholstered in a warm burgundy fabric and are in good condition. The sleek, functional design with the characteristic triangular backrest makes these armchairs timeless and suitable for both classic and modern interiors.
Martin Visser (1922-2009) was chief designer at Spectrum and one of the most important Dutch furniture designers of the last century, known for, among other things, the BR02 sofa bed.
