Product description
Beautiful Danish set of reclining chairs,beautiful modern design by Martin Godsk woodworker.
Beautiful in oak with Handmade thick wool rope braided back and seat.
This is model MG35 Lounge chair.
This model is no longer made and only about 10 were made.
Making this chair takes Marin over 1 week time, from nothing to something hence no large numbers are made.
An incomparable designer and craftsman. From an early age Martin was fascinated by woodworking. His grandfather soon saw the boy's special talent and set up a workshop in the basement.
Here he trained Martin in tool learning, woodworking and, last but not least, prudence.
The training for the future master carpenter was laid out.... All the furniture in the exhibition is entirely handmade from available and durable materials.
Martin's keen critical eye does not peer, whether it is the pencil, the plane or the wood in his hand. All elements must work together. Nothing by Martin's hand and eye is left to chance Therefore, all finished products are signed.(see photo).
