Large Rosso Levanto Marble Coffee Table — Italy, 1970s
An impressive Italian coffee table from the 1970s, entirely made of Rosso Levanto marble. The combination of the generous oval top, the deep oxblood red color, and the monumental cylindrical base gives the table a powerful, almost architectural appearance.
The character of this table is largely determined by the natural stone itself. The polished Rosso Levanto marble has an intense dark red color, intersected by contrasting white veins. Because each pattern is formed by nature, the top has a completely unique look.
The design is deliberately reduced to two strong geometric shapes: a large oval top and a massive marble drum base. This simplicity allows the material to speak for itself and makes the table particularly suitable for an interior where high-quality materials and distinctive vintage design are central.
With a size of 138 × 90 cm, the table has a generous presence. Beautiful in combination with low modular seating furniture, Italian leather, or bouclé, but also strong as a sculptural contrast in an understated, contemporary interior. A table that needs no further decoration to attract attention.
